1965 Chevy Impala. My youngest son found this in a farmers barn. It is straight and doesn't have too much rust! At least not for this area! Was not looking for another project but the price was right and didn't want to see it go to the crusher! It had a 283 4 barrel & power glide transmission. Had to tow it home with a tow truck as the brakes had lost all the fluid. Rebuilt them first thing. Plans call for a rebuilt 400 with TH 350. It does have heavy duty suspension & a 12 bolt rear end. The engine is in the machine shop now - hope to have it running by the spring time. Then will start on the body.

Finally got all the parts back from the machine shop. Had to go 30 over on the block and ended up with a new crank. Now to put it all together and in the car!

Spent my spare time over the summer building the engine. Removed the front clip to start work on the body.
