1968 Pontiac Firebird 400. This was one fun car! I owned it most of my senior year in high school. It was orginally a light green - that had to go! One of my friends painted it for me. I rebuilt the engine after spinning three rod bearings. The previous owner failed to tell me that he had run it out of oil! I had only paid $200 plus a cassette player for it. It was a four speed car. Headers and burnt out glass packs made for a great sound! I added an Edelbrock Torquer intake with 650 Holley double pumper and a Crane Fireball cam. It would run! Only car that I ever had that would pull the front wheels off the ground! Before leaving for the Air Force I put it in storage and when I came back for it I decided to trade it for a 74 Mustang - What was I thinking!!!!
